*There are tax benefits in the new tax bill passed that raises the current $10,000 limit on the federal deduction for state and local taxes, known as SALT to $40,000 starting in 2025, with the phaseout beginning after $500,000 of income. Both figures would increase by 1% each year through 2029 and the cap would revert to $10,000 in 2030. (WSJ)
