COMPASS Silicon Valley, reports that at least 40 homes sold for $200,000 or more above list price in February, including 17 homes that sold for $400,000 or more above list. Notably, one property in Los Gatos sold for $1,400,000 above asking price in just 8 days on the market, and two other homes area sold for $900,000 more. Multiple-offer bidding wars are fierce: one house attracted 25 offers in 8 days and 5 other properties received more than 10 offers each. (COMPASSintelligence)
Compass and Rocket announced a Historic Alliance to include Redfin and Rocket Mortgage
Compass and Rocket Companies have announced a historic alliance that also includes Redfin, bringing together home search, brokerage representation, and mortgage financing into a more integrated real estate ecosystem. This strategic partnership is designed to create a seamless experience for buyers and sellers alike — combining exclusive listing exposure, a powerful consumer portal, and streamlined mortgage solutions under one coordinated platform.
The alliance is a three-year partnership with Rocket and Redfin will begin mid-March 2026. The “strategic alliance,” includes a number of moving parts, is a landmark move creating an off-MLS, off-Zillow listing platform for its exclusive listings with a built-in user base.
It’s doing so by syndicating its off-MLS listings exclusively to Redfin’s portal, beginning with its “Coming Soon” listings, which were previously only publicized on Compass.com. Consumers working with Compass agents will also benefit from preferential pricing on mortgages through Rocket. – The partnership between Rocket, Redfin and Compass is the most seamless combination to date of the components that make up a consumer’s home-buying journey: the home search portal, the brokerage, and the mortgage provider.
